Extremely responsive help and dev teams make GemPages worth it! In the 1+ years we've run on GemPages, our team has utilized their help numerous times and we've seen features on the change log come to fruition in impactful ways for our site. Shopify itself is an absent corporate blob and their front end builder is really limited, but GemPages gives you real people and helpful tools for a highly customizable site building platform. As the user, you can balance drag-and-drop with actual coding to suit your needs.
GemPages has been a great tool for customizing sections across my Shopify store without having to start from scratch every time. I had a specific use case where I wanted to add a GemPages theme section across multiple product templates without affecting the layout of each individual product page. Dzung from the support team was incredibly helpful in walking me through the setup step by step and clearly explaining how to create separate Shopify product templates and apply the section without defaulting everything back to one layout.
Support was fast, clear, and stayed with me until everything was properly implemented. If you’re looking for flexibility in design and reliable customer service, this is a solid solution.
